To support the Ministry of Economic Affairs in advancing Taiwan’s low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite industry, STIPC focuses on maritime satellite application scenarios. The center assists domestic companies in developing maritime satellite terminals and related key technologies by constructing real-world testbeds for long-duration offshore communication.

Promoting AI Adoption in Industry
STIPC established an Industry AI Promotion Special Interest Group (SIG) to address common challenges across industrial sectors. By conducting in-depth diagnostics and demand analysis, the SIG proposes tailored AI solutions to help businesses integrate artificial intelligence into their operations.
STIPC supports the promotion of industrial AI transition in sectors including surface treatment, petrochemical machinery, resource recycling, water treatment, optoelectronic semiconductors, yachts, electrical and electronics, and the papermaking industry, developing blueprints for AI applications in various fields.
These efforts aim to reduce production costs, optimize management, and solve critical workforce challenges such as labor shortages and knowledge transfer gaps. Ultimately, the initiative promotes smart industrial transformation and supports long-term sustainable development for enterprises.
